Well, another year has come and gone so fast. Just yesterday I started my first year of college, and now only four more months until I finish my second; then, only one more year until I graduate. This year has been an awesome year. As all of you know, Jordan and I starting dating in February. We dated for seven months, and then September 8th, we became engaged. We have five more months until the wedding, and we’re getting very excited! Well, at least I now I am. Our family has had some struggles this year, but we know the Lord will work it out. We recently found out that Noah has a health issue with his growth hormone. It is not working properly and has caused him to be smaller. He has another test, and we pray that the results will be good, and he can start his treatments. I finally got a job after many weeks of filling out applications. I am working as an assistant manager at Subway. As of right now, I really enjoy it. It’s a lot of work, but it’s one of the better jobs I’ve had. Thank you all for your prayers and support. It means so much to me. May God bless you this coming year of 2012 and the many years to follow. I love you all! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I hope you all did too. I got to come home and spend it with my family. We had some awesome food: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls, and tons of pie. It's been good to get some home cooking! I miss my mom and dad’s cooking sometimes!

Where is the time going? Mid-terms almost over, Thanksgiving in three weeks, finals, THEN CHRISTMAS!!! wow time flies when your having fun.
An update on the wedding planning... Everything is going great. Plans are coming a long awesome! Dresses have been chosen, I have my dress, decorations are just about all figured out! We're having fun!
As far as mid-terms went... we have one more in Daniel. Prayerfully I do well. Mid-terms went ok, second year is definitely harder than last year, but I have all of my term stuff done, so I don't need to worry about that!
Winter is on it way, I can feel it in my bones. The weather is getting cooler, snow has been falling, Christmas lights went up in my room the other night! Christmas music has been playing. It's got to be my favorite time of the year, so why not celebrate a little early! Right? :D

Guess what EVERYBODY!!! Jordan and I are engaged! He purposed to me two weeks ago today, September 8th. Here’s my story…
For the last month or so Jordan has felt the need to drop down on one knee whenever and wherever, whether it was to “tie his shoe,” or “check the time on his cell phone.” September 8th started out to be a horrible day; nothing seemed to be going my way. That evening our buddies decided to go for a walk, and we decided to go, we “somehow” ended up at the park. He decided he would climb to the top of the swing set and jump down. Well, he must have had a bad dismount or something, because he ended up “hurting” his ankle when he hit the ground. With my attempt to help him up I pulled on his arm and he came up on one knee. My reaction: “he’s joking… again, but to my surprise he wasn’t bending down to tie his shoe again, he had a beautiful ring waiting for me. He asked the question and I said YES! (Obviously) Needless to say, bad day + boyfriend purposing = BEST DAY EVER!!!

Well, I just enter my second week of classes, and man am I busy already! Papers, books, reports, CRAZINESS!!! :D Gotta love it.
Well, let’s see… Where to begin? Sundays, like always, we have church! Jordan and I will be working together to build one of the busses. Wednesday I am helping in the Christian school from noon till 2:00pm watching the kindergarteners. Then from 2:00pm-2:30pm I have the fourth, fifth, and sixth graders for library. I start that this week and am very excited. Wednesday night I am helping in Patch the Pirate Club. Saturday is visitation where we go and visit all of our bus kids.
I haven’t been able to find a job yet. I have been looking and applying, but they always manage to find somebody else. That’s ok. The Lord will provide. Please be praying that I can find one soon.
Classes this year are as follows: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays is Missions II, Daniel, Pauline and Epistles. Tuesdays and Thursday is Sunday School Admin., Practical Theology, Pentateuch, and Acts & Church History. I am both excited and nervous about my classes this year. Can’t wait to get my 4.0!!! I GOT THIS!!!
p.s. Jordan is doing good too!!! :D

Noah and I made a yummy treat today and would like to share it with you.
It is super easy to make and lots of fun! Enjoy!
What you need to make "Want Some Mower"
Sugar Cookies/Brownies/Cupcakes
Chocolate Frosting
Coconut
M+M's
Hershey's Chocolate Nuggets
Chocolate/Black Licorice
Green Food Coloring
Step One: Frost the top of your chosen goodie with the chocolate frosting.
Step Two: Add the green food coloring to the coconut and sprinkle on top to give it a grassy look.
Step Three: Place the Hershey nuggets in the middle of the grass for the body of the mower.
Step Four: Using a tiny bit of frosting left over, mount four M+M’s to the side for wheels.
Step Five: Mount one more M+M to the top of the mower for the motor.
Step Six: Add little strands of licorice to back of mower to make a handle. (use what’s left of the frosting to hold in place)
Step Seven: EAT! Hope you ENJOYED making these as much and we DID!

Where has the summer gone? I can't believe I head back to Ohio Thursday. Summer has flown by! This summer has been great! I've spent the summer working at Pete and Gerry's Organics, where I packed eggs anywhere from 11 to 14 hours a day. Jordan got here in July, just in time for the 4th. We spent the summer visiting some cool places around here like: Clark's Trained Bears, Whales Tale, Big Eddie, Little Eddie, Chutters, and many more! We also went to the county fair where a cartoon artist drew our faces. It was pretty neat! Many of you know that my car was totaled on my way home from college. Well, Richard found me a car and is helping me pay it off! It's a 07' Pontiac G6 and I love it! Thank you Richie! Although I'm ready to head back to school, I will miss you all. Remember to stay in touch and visit my blog once in a while to keep up with all the exciting things that come my way!
